Prince George's County Animal Services Facility Expansion

Spay Spot Expands Services to Meet Animal Welfare Needs

Upper Marlboro, MD –

The Prince George's County Animal Services Division is pleased to announce the expansion of its Spay Spot facility at 3750 Brown Station Road in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This expansion will significantly enhance the Division's ability to provide high-quality sheltering and care to animals in the county.

The Spay Spot, which provides low-cost spay and neuter surgeries, has been a vital resource for the county's animal welfare efforts. The expansion will allow the facility to double its capacity, increasing the number of animals it can serve each year. The facility will also include a new surgical suite, enabling the Division to provide more complex surgeries and procedures.

In addition to the Spay Spot expansion, the Division is also planning to renovate the animal shelter located on Brown Station Road. The renovation will include new kennels, an expanded adoption center, and improved medical facilities. These upgrades will provide a more comfortable and humane environment for the animals in the shelter.

The Prince George's County Animal Services Division is committed to providing the highest quality of care to animals in the county. The expansion of the Spay Spot and the renovation of the shelter are important steps towards achieving this goal.
