Delhi Police Ready to Question Accused in GainBitcoin Case

Top Court to Hear Petition Seeking Quash of Case

Ongoing Investigation into Cryptocurrency Scam

New Delhi, April 24, 2018: As the Delhi Police gears up to interrogate Amit Bhardwaj, the alleged mastermind behind the GainBitcoin cryptocurrency scam, the Supreme Court is set to hear a petition seeking to quash the case against the accused.

The top court will consider a petition filed by Ajay Bhardwaj, a close associate of Amit Bhardwaj, requesting the quashing of the First Information Report (FIR) registered against him in the GainBitcoin case. The FIR accuses Ajay Bhardwaj of involvement in the alleged cryptocurrency scam that defrauded investors of lakhs of rupees.

The Delhi Police have been investigating the GainBitcoin case since last year, when several complaints were filed by investors who claimed to have lost their investments in the cryptocurrency platform. The police have arrested Amit Bhardwaj and several others in connection with the case.

The interrogation of Amit Bhardwaj is expected to shed light on the operation of the GainBitcoin scam and the involvement of other individuals in the fraud. The Supreme Court's hearing on the petition seeking to quash the case will also have a significant impact on the ongoing investigation.
