The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has arrested the driver of an SUV accused in a deadly hit-and-run that left a motorcyclist dead. The arrest was made possible thanks to witness statements and surveillance footage.

The incident occurred on November 21st, 2021, when a motorcyclist was struck by an SUV at the intersection of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and Cassia Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. The suspect driver fled the scene, leaving the victim lying in the roadway.
