How to get a motorcycle licence
Basic Handling Skills course
If you want to ride a motorcycle, you need a motorcycle licence. The Basic Handling Skills course is a compulsory step to getting your motorcycle learner licence. The course teaches you the basic skills you need to ride a motorcycle safely, such as how to start, stop, turn, and brake.
Full motorcycle licence
Once you have your learner licence, you can apply for a full motorcycle licence. To do this, you need to have held your restricted licence for at least 12 months and pass a full motorcycle licence test. The test is more difficult than the learner licence test and covers a wider range of riding skills.
