Indigenous Coloring Templates
In celebration of NAIDOC week, we are excited to share some genuine indigenous coloring templates. These templates feature six Australian animals, including the kangaroo, emu, koala, wombat, platypus, and kookaburra. They are perfect for kids of all ages and can be used to create beautiful and unique dot paintings.
How to Create a Dot Painting
To create a dot painting, you will need the following materials:
- White copier paper
- Indigenous coloring templates
- Q-tips
- Acrylic paint
- Paintbrush (optional)
- Print off the indigenous coloring templates on white copier paper.
- Choose the colors you want to use and pour them into small dishes.
- Dip a Q-tip into the paint and start dotting it onto the template.
- Continue dotting until the entire template is filled in.
- Allow the paint to dry completely.
- Once the paint is dry, you can add additional details with a paintbrush if desired.
