Webel DQE Animation Academy Launches in Kolkata

State-of-the-Art Facility in IT Hub

Kolkata, India – March 15, 2023

Webel DQE Animation Academy, an initiative of the Department of Information Technology and Electronics, Government of West Bengal, has launched in Kolkata. The academy boasts a state-of-the-art facility spanning over 10,000 square feet in Salt Lake, the IT hub of the city.

The academy offers a range of programs, including a Diploma in 3D Animation and a One Year Program in Animation Film Making. The programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of animation techniques and industry best practices.

The academy's faculty consists of experienced professionals from the animation industry. Students will have access to industry-standard software and equipment, as well as opportunities for internships and collaborations with leading studios.
