- Row 1: Ch55, counts as 1st hdc, and ch1 skip. (55 hdc)
- Row 2: (hdc in next hdc, ch1) 27 times. (28 groups of hdc and ch1)
- Row 3: *Sc in next ch1 space, hdc in next hdc* repeat * around. (55 sc and 28 hdc)
- Row 4: *Sc in next hdc, hdc in next sc* repeat * around. (55 hdc and 28 sc)
- Row 5-20: Repeat Rows 3 and 4.
- Row 21: (sc in next hdc, ch3, sc in next hdc) 28 times. (28 groups of sc and ch3)
- Row 22: Sc in each sc and ch3 space around. (84 sc)
- Decrease Rounds:
- Round 1: *Sc in each of the next 12 sc, sc2tog* repeat * around. (72 sc)
- Round 2: *Sc in each of the next 11 sc, sc2tog* repeat * around. (60 sc)
- Round 3: *Sc in each of the next 10 sc, sc2tog* repeat * around. (48 sc)
