Disney Cruise Line Announces New Policies on Hairdryers

Bring Your Own or Use Ours?

Leave the Hairdryer at Home or Not?

Disney Cruise Line has updated its policies on hairdryers, effective immediately. Guests are now allowed to bring their own hairdryers on board, but there are some restrictions.

Hairdryers must be in good working condition and must not be larger than 1200 watts. They must also have a safety certification from a recognized testing organization, such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL) or the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).

Guests who choose to bring their own hairdryers should pack them in their carry-on luggage. Hairdryers will not be allowed in checked baggage.

Disney Cruise Line provides hairdryers in all staterooms, so guests may choose to leave their own at home. However, guests who are particular about their hairdryers may want to bring their own.
