Can I Bring My Own Alcohol, Bottled Water, or Soda Onboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship?

Bottled Water and Soda

Guests are allowed to bring a limited amount of bottled water on board Royal Caribbean ships. The water must be in a clear, plastic bottle and must not be more than 1 liter in size. Guests are also allowed to bring a limited amount of soda on board, but the soda must be in a can or plastic bottle and must not be more than 12 ounces in size.

Alcohol

Guests are not allowed to bring any alcohol on board Royal Caribbean ships. This includes all types of alcohol, including beer, wine, and spirits. Guests who are caught bringing alcohol on board may be fined or have their alcohol confiscated.

There are a few exceptions to this rule. Guests who are sailing on a cruise that is longer than 7 days are allowed to bring one bottle of wine or champagne on board. Guests who are celebrating a special occasion, such as a wedding or anniversary, may also be allowed to bring a limited amount of alcohol on board. However, guests must always get permission from the cruise line before bringing any alcohol on board.
