The UCSF Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic is known nationwide for its innovative treatment and research programs. State-of-the-Art Facilities
The UCSF Parnassus campus includes our 15-story hospital Ambulatory Care Center, which houses the Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic, as well as Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital and Clinics. These facilities provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients and their families.
Adult Outpatient Services
UCSF Psychiatry offers outpatient consultation, evaluation, and treatment to adults 18 years of age and older. Our services include:
- Individual therapy

- Medication management
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
Insurance Coverage
Enrollees in the University of California Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP) have coverage for medical and mental health services provided by UCSF Psychiatry.
