Edelweiss to Offer Non-stop Service between Halifax and Zurich in Summer 2025

Edelweiss, a Swiss international scheduled airline, has exciting plans to launch non-stop service between Halifax and Zurich in the summer of 2025. This seasonal service will kick off on July 3rd and run throughout the summer season. Halifax will become one of just three Canadian cities to be served by Edelweiss, joining Calgary and Vancouver.

Twice-Weekly Flights on Airbus A340

The new route will operate twice a week on Edelweiss's Airbus A340 aircraft. The airline's CEO, Bernd Bauer, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, saying that the Halifax route “ideally complements our popular flights to Calgary.” Passengers from Halifax will now have direct access to Switzerland's stunning landscapes, making it easier than ever to explore the country's beauty.
