Alarming video shows NJ woman who nearly had hand chewed off by tiger after climbing zoo fence h2> Do you dare?

A mind spinning incident occurred at the tiger enclosure in the New Jersey Zoological Park on Wednesday evening when a woman nearly had her hand ripped off by a tiger after she climbed over the barrier, completely overlooking the safety warnings.

What happened?

According to a report from NBC New York, the woman's finger was in the tiger’s mouth, and she managed to pull her entire arm out before being taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The zoo has confirmed this was not an isolated incident.

Zoo’s communications director, Stephen Trzaska told NBC New York that despite posting numerous signs, there have been eight incidents over the past 10 years in which people crossed the barriers and put themselves in dangerous situations.

Video taken on a cell phone shows the tiger lunging at the woman and grabbing her hand before she was assisted by onlookers and zoo staff as the animal is seen trying to pull her back through the bars of the enclosure.

The zoo has warned that it will prosecute any further incidents of this kind.
