Liverpool Hopeful of Securing 109m Move for Federico Chiesa

Reds Eager to Add Juventus Star to Growing Forward Line

Chiesa's Arrival Would Bolster Liverpool's Attacking Options

Liverpool is reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Juventus and Italy winger Federico Chiesa for a fee of around 109 million pounds (15 million euros).

The 26-year-old has been a key player for Juventus since joining the club in 2020, making 53 appearances and scoring 14 goals. He has also been a regular member of the Italian national team, earning 35 caps and scoring four goals.

If the deal goes through, Chiesa would become Liverpool's sixth forward option, joining Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota, and Luis Diaz. This would give manager Jurgen Klopp plenty of flexibility in attack.

Chiesa is expected to undergo a medical and finalize personal terms with Liverpool in the coming days. He is set to become the club's second major signing of the summer following the arrival of Darwin Nunez from Benfica for a fee of 85 million pounds (100 million euros).

Liverpool are hoping that Chiesa can help them challenge for the Premier League title and the Champions League next season. The Reds finished second in the Premier League last season and were runners-up in the Champions League.
