Another Draw for Borussia Dortmund

Bundesliga Loss Puts Title Hopes in Doubt

Schlotterbeck Sent Off

Borussia Dortmund's hopes of winning the Bundesliga title took another blow on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Werder Bremen.

The visitors took the lead through Karim Adeyemi in the 35th minute, but Bremen equalized through Niclas Füllkrug just before half-time.

Dortmund were then dealt a further blow when Nico Schlotterbeck was sent off for a second bookable offense in the 60th minute.

The draw leaves Dortmund seven points behind leaders Bayern Munich with just six games remaining.

It was Dortmund's second draw in a row, having also been held 1-1 by Hoffenheim the previous weekend.

The result means that Dortmund's title hopes are now hanging by a thread.

With just six games remaining, they would need to win all of their remaining matches and hope that Bayern Munich drop points in order to have any chance of winning the title.
