FSU Football to Face Boston College Without Key Players
Byers and Williams Out; Two Linebackers Questionable
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida State football will be without several key players when they take on Boston College on Saturday.
Running back Jeremiah Byers and defensive end Hykeem Williams have been ruled out for the game due to injuries.
Linebackers Amari Gainer and DJ Lundy are also questionable after missing practice this week.
Byers is FSU's leading rusher this season with 501 yards and six touchdowns.
Williams has been a key part of FSU's pass rush, recording 2.5 sacks and 4.5 tackles for loss.
Gainer and Lundy are two of FSU's top tacklers.
Their absence will be a big blow to FSU's defense, which is already ranked 12th in the ACC.
FSU is a 10-point favorite over Boston College, but the absence of Byers, Williams, Gainer, and Lundy could make the game more competitive.
