Brush Fire Burns Near Micron in Boise

Firefighters Battle Blaze

A brush fire that started near Micron in Boise, Idaho, is being fought by firefighters. The fire was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2023, and has burned approximately 50 acres.

The fire is burning in the Boise Foothills, near the Table Rock trailhead. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Evacuations Ordered

Residents in the area have been evacuated as a precaution. The Ada County Sheriff's Office has ordered evacuations for the following areas:

    Residents are advised to stay indoors and close windows and doors. Those with respiratory conditions should be especially cautious.
