U.S. Chamber of Commerce's U.S.-India Business Council Announces Recipients of 2024 Global Leadership Award

Recognizing Business Leaders for their Contributions to U.S.-India Relations

Three outstanding individuals to be honored for their commitment to fostering economic growth and strengthening bilateral ties

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce's U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) has announced the recipients of its 2024 Global Leadership Award: Ajay Banga, former CEO of Mastercard; Ivanka Trump, former Senior Advisor to the President of the United States; and Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries.

The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to strengthening economic ties between the United States and India. The recipients will be honored at a gala dinner in Washington, D.C. on April 25, 2024.

Ajay Banga

Ajay Banga is the former President and CEO of Mastercard. He is a global business leader with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Banga has been a strong advocate for economic development in India and has played a key role in promoting U.S.-India business ties.

Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump is the former Senior Advisor to the President of the United States. She is a businesswoman and philanthropist who has been involved in a number of initiatives to promote women's empowerment and economic development.

Mukesh Ambani

Mukesh Ambani is the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries. He is one of the wealthiest people in India and has been a major investor in the country's economy. Ambani has also been a strong supporter of U.S.-India business ties.
