Second half goals from Ousmane Dembele and Lionel Messi seal victory for the visitors

Tottenham Hotspur lost 2-4 to Barcelona in a pre-season friendly at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night.

The match was evenly contested in the first half, with both sides creating chances.

However, Barcelona took the lead in the second half through Ousmane Dembele, who fired home from close range after a cross from Lionel Messi.

Tottenham equalised through Harry Kane, who scored from the penalty spot after he was brought down by Samuel Umtiti.

But Barcelona regained the lead through Messi, who curled a free-kick into the top corner.

Tottenham pushed for an equaliser, but Barcelona extended their lead through Luis Suarez, who finished off a move involving Messi and Dembele.

Tottenham pulled a goal back through Erik Lamela, but Barcelona added a fourth through Rafinha in the dying minutes.
