Her thoughts on Zoë Kravitz's Catwoman and more
Cristin Milioti, who plays Sofia Falcone in the HBO Max series “The Penguin,” recently gave her thoughts on the various actresses who have portrayed Catwoman in live-action films. In an interview with Variety, Milioti praised Zoë Kravitz's performance in “The Batman,” calling her “fantastic” and saying that she “brought a lot of depth and nuance to the role.”
As for other actresses who have played Catwoman, Milioti said that she admires Michelle Pfeiffer's portrayal in Tim Burton's “Batman Returns” and Halle Berry's performance in the 2004 film “Catwoman.” She also said that she is a fan of Anne Hathaway's take on the character in Christopher Nolan's “The Dark Knight Rises.”
Milioti's comments come as “The Penguin” is set to premiere on HBO Max on March 17. The series is a spin-off of “The Batman” and follows Oswald Cobblepot (Colin Farrell) as he rises to power in the Gotham City underworld. In addition to Milioti, the series also stars Michael Kelly, Shea Whigham, and Edie Falco.
