The Kansas City Royals and San Francisco Giants will start their game Tuesday night at 5:40 p.m. PT instead of 7:15 p.m. PT due to the threat of thunderstorms in the area.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Bay Area, with a chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain.

The Royals and Giants are both coming off of wins on Monday night. The Royals beat the Oakland Athletics 5-3, while the Giants beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-2.

The Royals are 14-14 this season, while the Giants are 15-13.
