Josh Reynolds Shot in Drive-by Shooting

Former Detroit Lions Wide Receiver Escapes Life-Threatening Injuries

Police Investigating Motive Behind Shooting

Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds was the victim of a drive-by shooting on Thursday night in Nashville, Tennessee, according to reports from the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Reynolds, 28, was driving his car when he was shot twice in the arm. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting, but they believe it was a targeted attack. No arrests have been made at this time.

Reynolds played for the Lions for two seasons, from 2020 to 2021. He caught 85 passes for 1,002 yards and seven touchdowns during his time in Detroit.

Reynolds was released by the Lions in March 2022. He signed with the Tennessee Titans in April, but was released by the team in August.

The shooting is the latest in a string of violent incidents involving NFL players in recent years. In 2022, former Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber III died by suicide after being shot by police.

The NFL has expressed its concern about the increasing violence against its players. The league has implemented a number of policies and programs to address the issue, including加强球员安全措施and providing mental health support.
