Buccaneers Standout RB Lands On Injury Report Wednesday
Ronald Jones Expected To Miss Thursday's Practice Ahead Of Week 13
Tampa Bay Preparing For Their Road Matchup Against The Bills
Tampa Bay Buccaneers standout running back Ronald Jones was a late addition to the team's injury report on Wednesday, with the team listing him as questionable for Thursday's practice with an ankle injury.
Jones was a full participant in Tuesday's practice and is expected to miss Thursday's session, but the team is optimistic he will be able to play in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills.
Jones has been a key part of the Buccaneers' offense this season, rushing for 533 yards and six touchdowns on 121 carries. He also has 22 receptions for 141 yards and one touchdown.
If Jones is unable to play, the Buccaneers will likely turn to Leonard Fournette and Ke'Shawn Vaughn to carry the load in the backfield.
Fournette has 469 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 109 carries this season, while Vaughn has 186 rushing yards and one touchdown on 46 carries.
The Buccaneers are 7-4 this season and are currently in first place in the NFC South.
They will face a tough test in Week 13 when they travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills, who are 8-3 and in first place in the AFC East.
