Three natives of the Komi Republic died during a special military operation, the head of the republic, Vladimir Uiba, said on his social media page.

We express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. These are irreparable losses for all of us. We mourn together with you,” Uiba wrote.

The head of the republic did not specify the names of the victims or the circumstances of their deaths. According to him, the families of the victims will receive all necessary support.

Earlier it was reported that about 80% of those mobilized in the Komi Republic had already gone to the combat zone.

The special military operation has been ongoing since February 24, 2022. During this time, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, more than 6,000 Russian military personnel were killed.
