Vitaliy Ganchev, head of the occupation administration of the Kharkiv region, says that the evacuation of civilians from the Kupyansk district has slowed down.

This is due to the fact that the Russian occupiers are shelling the evacuation routes. “The situation is very difficult. The enemy is constantly shelling the evacuation routes, so we cannot evacuate people as quickly as we would like,” Ganchev said.

He added that about 5,000 people have already been evacuated from the Kupyansk district, but there are still many who want to leave. “We are doing everything we can to evacuate people as soon as possible, but the enemy is doing everything to prevent us from doing so,” Ganchev said.

Two families in the Kupyansk district are hiding their children from the Russian occupiers.

The families are afraid that the occupiers will take their children away and send them to Russia. “We are very afraid that the occupiers will take our children away. We have heard stories about this happening to other families,” said one of the mothers.

The families are hiding their children in basements and other secret places. They are also trying to avoid contact with the occupiers.
