Corey Kispert Goes for 16 in Wizards Second Summer League Game
Kispert Leads Wizards to Victory Over Celtics
Washington's Corey Kispert had a strong performance in his second Summer League game, leading the Wizards to a 118-95 victory over the Boston Celtics. Kispert finished the game with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. He shot 6-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-9 from three-point range.
Kispert was aggressive from the start, scoring the Wizards' first five points of the game. He hit a three-pointer on the game's opening possession and followed it up with a driving layup. Kispert continued to score throughout the game, hitting several more three-pointers and using his length to get to the rim.
In addition to his scoring, Kispert also played well on the defensive end. He had two steals and two blocks, and he helped to limit the Celtics to just 38.5% shooting from the field.
The Wizards are now 2-0 in Summer League play. They will face the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday in their next game.
