Khachanov's Hot Streak Ends Dimitrov's Turin Hopes

Khachanov Halts Dimitrov's Turin Bid in Paris

Karen Khachanov's impressive form continued as he defeated Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 to reach the semi-finals of the Paris Masters on Friday.

Dimitrov needed to reach the final to qualify for the ATP Finals in Turin, but Khachanov's dominant performance ended his hopes.

Khachanov's Dominance Continues

Khachanov, who won the Astana Open last week, continued his impressive run in Paris, breaking Dimitrov's serve three times and saving all three break points he faced.

The Russian controlled the match from the start, hitting 19 winners to Dimitrov's 10 and committing just 12 unforced errors compared to Dimitrov's 24.

Khachanov will face either Stefanos Tsitsipas or Lorenzo Musetti in the semi-finals.

Dimitrov's Turin Hopes Dashed

Dimitrov's defeat means he will miss the ATP Finals for the first time since 2017.

The Bulgarian, who reached the semi-finals in Paris last year, was aiming to qualify for the season-ending event for the seventh time.

Dimitrov will now look to finish the season strongly at the ATP Challenger Tour Finals in Bergamo.
