Montana Lady Griz basketball set to open season against Montana Western
Lady Griz to host exhibition game on Oct. 30
The Montana Lady Griz basketball team will open its exhibition season on Oct. 30 at home against Montana Western. The game will be played at Dahlberg Arena and will tip off at 7 p.m. The Lady Griz are coming off a 2021-22 season in which they finished with a 25-8 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. They return four starters from that team, including All-Big Sky Conference selection Sammy Fatkin. Montana Western is a member of the Frontier Conference. The Bulldogs finished 22-8 last season and advanced to the NAIA National Tournament. The Lady Griz will open their regular season on Nov. 7 at home against Montana State.
