Scotland to host Nepal in ICC Cricket World Cup League 2

Scotland will host Nepal in a crucial ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series in June 2023.

The two teams will play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) at the Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh on June 14, 16 and 18, as part of the ongoing qualification process for the 2023 World Cup in India.

Nepal is currently seventh in the League 2 standings, while Scotland is ninth.

The top three teams in the league will qualify directly for the World Cup, while the fourth and fifth-placed teams will progress to a play-off tournament.

Scotland will be looking to build on their recent good form in ODI cricket, having won their last three matches against Papua New Guinea and Namibia.

Nepal, meanwhile, will be hoping to improve on their recent record in the format, having lost their last four matches.

The matches will be a good test for both teams ahead of the World Cup, and they are sure to be closely contested.
