Vietnamese youth football is proud when U19 Vietnam has excellently overcome the group stage of the 2023 AFC U19 Championship

U19 Vietnam has the opportunity to continue the journey to conquer the AFC U19 Championship 2023 after a dramatic 1-1 draw against Oman U19 in the final match of Group C, taking place on October 14 at the Markaziy Stadium.

In a match that both teams needed to score, U19 Oman took the lead in the 22nd minute from a penalty kick, but the joy was short-lived when 10 minutes later, Quoc Viet equalized for U19 Vietnam. In the remaining minutes, both teams tried to find a winning goal, but in the end, neither team could score.

With this result, U19 Vietnam finished 2nd in Group C with 5 points after 3 matches, behind only South Korea U19 with 7 points. According to the regulations of the tournament, the top two teams in each group and the best third-placed team will advance to the quarterfinals.
