DTEK Vostokenergo of Akhmetov declared bankrupt by the court

The economic court of the Donetsk region declared DTEK Vostokenergo bankrupt

The corresponding court decision was published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions on July 13, 2023.

The court opened bankruptcy proceedings against DTEK Vostokenergo on March 8, 2023

The bankruptcy trustee was appointed as the head of the liquidation commission of PJSC CENTRENERGO Volodymyr Khodakivskyi.

As of March 1, 2023, DTEK Vostokenergo's total liabilities amounted to UAH 20.836 billion, of which UAH 16.935 billion were accounts payable.

The largest creditors of DTEK Vostokenergo are: Naftogaz Ukrainy – UAH 14.7 billion, Ukrenergo – UAH 2.1 billion.

DTEK Vostokenergo is part of the DTEK energy holding, owned by Rinat Akhmetov.

DTEK Vostokenergo owns Luhansk TPP and Zuhres TPP. The installed capacity of the TPPs is 2,550 MW.

In 2022, DTEK Vostokenergo generated 7.2 billion kWh of electricity.
