The Belgian winger impressed in his cameo appearance

Leandro Trossard made his Arsenal debut in the Champions League on Thursday night, coming off the bench in the Gunners' 3-0 win over Bodo/Glimt.

The Belgian winger replaced Bukayo Saka in the 76th minute and made an immediate impact, providing an assist for Gabriel Jesus's goal.

Trossard also had a chance to score himself, but he was denied by Bodo/Glimt goalkeeper Nikita Haikin.

Overall, it was a positive debut for Trossard, who showed glimpses of his quality in his short time on the pitch.

The 28-year-old signed for Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January for a fee of around £27 million.

He has been capped 24 times by Belgium and was part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.

Trossard will be hoping to make a significant contribution to Arsenal's Champions League campaign, which continues with a match against FC Porto on March 7.
