Ken Daneyko to Join News 12 Networks as Devils Analyst
Former New Jersey Devils Defenseman to Provide Insight and Analysis on News 12's Devils Coverage
Daneyko Brings Wealth of Experience to the Broadcast Booth
Newark, N.J. – News 12 Networks, the leading local news provider in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut, announced today that Ken Daneyko, a former New Jersey Devils defenseman and three-time Stanley Cup champion, will join the network as a Devils analyst.
Daneyko will provide expert analysis and insights on News 12's coverage of the Devils, including pre-game and post-game shows, as well as in-game commentary. He will also make regular appearances on News 12's sports and news programs to discuss the Devils and other hockey-related topics.
“Ken Daneyko is a Devils legend and one of the most respected voices in hockey,” said Patrick Politi, News 12's Vice President of News.
“His passion for the game and his knowledge of the Devils make him the perfect addition to our team. We're thrilled to have him join News 12 and provide our viewers with his unique perspective on the Devils.”
Daneyko played 20 seasons with the Devils, helping the team win three Stanley Cups in 1995, 2000, and 2003. He is the Devils' all-time leader in games played (1,283) and penalty minutes (2,217). Daneyko was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2008.

Daneyko's first appearance on News 12 will be on October 11, when the Devils open their 2022-23 season against the Philadelphia Flyers.
