Power engineers restored power to almost 6 thousand consumers – Ministry of Energy
Consumers in the regions restored through reserve power sources
According to the Ministry of Energy, as of the morning of November 24, power engineers managed to restore the power supply to 5.9 thousand consumers of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. Work is still underway to connect consumers in the Odesa region.
Reserve power sources were used to restore electricity – generators and mobile boiler houses. Repair crews continue to work around the clock to eliminate the consequences of shelling by Russian troops and restore the electricity supply.
Power grid remains stable despite shelling
The Ministry of Energy notes that, despite the massive shelling of the energy infrastructure by Russian troops, the Ukrainian energy system continues to operate stably, all regions are balanced.
The press service of the Ukrenergo company reported that work on the restoration of high-voltage networks continues around the clock. In particular, repair crews are working to restore important high-voltage lines in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Power engineers are preparing for new missile attacks
The Ministry of Energy reports that power engineers are preparing for new possible missile attacks by the Russian Federation and are taking all necessary measures to minimize the consequences of such attacks.
In particular, reserve power sources are being prepared and the number of repair crews is being increased. Emergency power supply schemes are also being developed.
The Ministry of Energy urges citizens to be prepared for possible interruptions in power supply and to take care of the availability of alternative power sources.
