Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange sees continued decline in LPG prices
The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) on the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZRTSB) continues to fall, according to the exchange.
In a statement, UZRTSB said that the average price of LPG on the exchange fell by 2% to 738,000 UZS per tonne on Monday, July 11. This is the fifth consecutive day that LPG prices have fallen on the exchange.
The decline in LPG prices is being driven by a number of factors, including a decrease in demand from industrial and commercial users, as well as increased production from domestic suppliers.
The fall in LPG prices is good news for consumers, who will benefit from lower energy costs. It is also good news for the government, which is trying to reduce its dependence on imported energy sources.
