Residents of the house on Khrustalnaya Street in Ulyanovsk freeze without heating

The heating season in Ulyanovsk started on September 22, but the residents of the house number 17а on Khrustalnaya Street are still freezing in their apartments.

According to the residents, they have repeatedly contacted the housing and communal services, but the problem has not been resolved. The tenants of the house say that the temperature in the apartments does not exceed 15 degrees.

“We are freezing in our apartments, we have to wear warm clothes even at home,” says one of the residents of the house, Olga Ivanova.

According to her, there are many elderly people and children in the house who are most affected by the cold.

The residents of the house have written a collective letter to the prosecutor’s office and the mayor’s office. If the problem is not resolved in the near future, they plan to go to a rally.

The city administration is aware of the problem. According to the head of the city’s housing and communal services department, Andrey Chibisov, the heating supply to the house on Khrustalnaya Street is carried out according to the schedule.

“The temperature in the apartments meets the standards,” said Chibisov.

He also added that the residents of the house can independently conduct measurements of the temperature in the apartments and, if the standards are not met, contact the management company.

However, the residents are dissatisfied with this answer. They believe that the city administration is not doing enough to solve the problem.

“We have been freezing in our apartments for almost a month, and the authorities are only shrugging their shoulders,” says Olga Ivanova.

The residents of the house on Khrustalnaya Street hope that the prosecutor’s office and the mayor’s office will help them solve the problem with heating.
