Dubai-bound Flight Diverted to Tashkent Due to Fog

Plane Forced to Land in Uzbekistan Due to Adverse Weather Conditions

A flight from Dubai to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, was forced to make an unexpected landing in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Monday due to heavy fog that enveloped the Kyrgyz capital. The plane, operated by FlyDubai, was carrying 183 passengers and crew.

Passengers Safely Disembarked, Awaiting Further Information

The flight landed safely at Tashkent International Airport at approximately 10:30 AM local time (05:30 GMT). All passengers and crew were safely disembarked from the aircraft and are currently being accommodated by the airline.

FlyDubai has issued a statement apologizing for the inconvenience caused to passengers and stating that the decision to divert the flight was made in the interest of safety due to the low visibility conditions in Bishkek.

Dense Fog Disrupts Air Traffic in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan has been experiencing dense fog in recent days, causing significant disruptions to air traffic at Manas International Airport in Bishkek. Several flights have been delayed or canceled due to the poor visibility.

The Kyrgyz Hydrometeorological Institute has issued a warning, forecasting that the fog is expected to persist in the coming days. Passengers planning to travel to or from Bishkek are advised to check with their airlines for the latest flight information.
