Jannik Sinner continued his impressive run at the ATP Finals with a straight sets victory over Casper Ruud in the second semi-final on Saturday.

The Italian, who is making his debut at the season-ending event, won 7-5, 6-3 to reach his first final at the tournament.

Sinner, 20, is the youngest player to reach the ATP Finals semi-finals since Juan Martin del Potro in 2009.

Ruud, 22, was bidding to become the first Norwegian to reach the ATP Finals final, but he was unable to match the power and aggression of Sinner.

Sinner broke Ruud's serve twice in the first set and once in the second set.

The Italian will face either Novak Djokovic or Alexander Zverev in the final on Sunday.
