Evacuation of cars in Sochi

The administration of Sochi announced the evacuation of cars that will interfere with the procession dedicated to the feast of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. The event is scheduled for October 14, and traffic restrictions will be in effect on several central streets of the city. The procession will start at 10:00 a.m. from the Temple of St. Michael the Archangel and will move along Kurortny Prospekt and Navaginskaya Street to the Temple of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir.

Traffic restrictions

From 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on October 14, traffic will be closed on the following streets: * Kurortny Prospekt from the Temple of St. Michael the Archangel to Navaginskaya Street; * Navaginskaya Street from Kurortny Prospekt to the Temple of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir. Drivers are asked to plan their routes in advance and use alternative routes to avoid traffic jams. Public transport will operate as usual, but some bus stops along the procession route will be temporarily closed. The administration of Sochi apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the traffic restrictions and asks for the understanding of residents and guests of the city.
