Hotel Zhemchuzhina Vostoka sustained major damage from the blaze
On the morning of November 22, a large-scale fire engulfed the Zhemchuzhina Vostoka hotel in downtown Vladivostok. According to preliminary reports, the fire started on the third floor of the building and quickly spread throughout the entire hotel. Over 80 people were evacuated from the building, including hotel guests and staff.
At least seven people were injured in the fire, two of whom are in critical condition. The victims were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but preliminary findings suggest that an electrical fault may have sparked the blaze.

Investigators to conduct inspection
A team of investigators from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to Vladivostok to conduct an inspection of the Zhemchuzhina Vostoka hotel. The investigators will determine the cause of the fire and assess the damage to the building.
The investigation is expected to take several days. Once the investigation is complete, the investigators will release a report on their findings.
