С солиста группы Rammstein Тилля Линдеманна требуют 67 млн рублей за отмененный концерт в Твери
Tver Philharmonic Society Demands 67 Million Rubles from Rammstein's Till Lindemann for Canceled Concert
Moscow City Court Considers Claim
The Tver Philharmonic Society has filed a lawsuit against Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann, demanding compensation for a canceled concert in the Russian city of Tver. The Philharmonic Society is seeking 67 million rubles (approximately $890,000) from Lindemann, alleging that the cancellation of the concert caused significant financial losses.
Background of the Canceled Concert
The concert was scheduled to take place on August 3, 2019, at the Tver Ice Palace. However, it was canceled at the last minute due to security concerns raised by the Russian authorities. The Philharmonic Society claims that it had already spent a significant amount of money on advertising, promotion, and venue rental.
Lindemann's Response
Lindemann has denied any responsibility for the cancellation of the concert, stating that the decision was made by the Russian authorities. He has also claimed that the Philharmonic Society's demand for compensation is excessive and unreasonable.
Legal Proceedings
The Moscow City Court is currently considering the Philharmonic Society's claim. A hearing is scheduled for September 20, 2023. It is unclear at this stage whether Lindemann will attend the hearing or if he will be represented by a lawyer.
