Irkutsk region Governor Igor Kobzev met with mobilized residents of the region who are taking part in a special operation in Ukraine. The meeting took place on the territory of one of the military units of the region, where the mobilized are currently undergoing training.

The governor thanked the servicemen for their courage and resilience, and also wished them a speedy return home. He noted that the authorities of the Irkutsk region are doing everything possible to support the families of the mobilized, as well as to provide the necessary assistance to the military personnel themselves.

The mobilized, in turn, thanked the governor for his support and attention. They said that they are ready to fulfill their duty and defend the interests of the Motherland.

The meeting was also attended by the military commissar of the Irkutsk region, Alexander Eliseev, and the head of the regional administration for military mobilization and territorial defense, Valery Vasiliev.
