Sheriff’s Office Reports No Injuries, Arrests Made
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A fight that broke out in the Cinderella Castle line at Magic Kingdom on Saturday led to panic and a brief evacuation of the area, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, they found that a verbal altercation between two groups of guests had escalated into a physical confrontation.
Deputies quickly intervened and separated the parties involved. No injuries were reported, but several guests were treated for minor cuts and bruises.
Two people were arrested in connection with the incident. They have been charged with disorderly conduct and battery.
The area was evacuated for a short time while deputies investigated the incident. Guests were allowed to re-enter the area once the scene was cleared.
The Sheriff’s Office is reminding guests to remain calm and respectful of others while visiting the theme parks. Fighting or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
