Mississippi State's offense sputters in home opener

Mississippi State football opened its 2023 season with a less-than-stellar offensive performance in a 16-10 win over Florida Atlantic at Davis Wade Stadium Thursday night.

The Bulldogs mustered just 286 yards of total offense, including only 79 yards passing.

However, the MSU defense held FAU to just 208 yards of offense and forced three turnovers.
