Key Changes Revealed
The official West Virginia University football depth chart for the 2024 season opener has been released. The depth chart features several notable changes from the 2023 season, including:
- JT Daniels named starting quarterback.
- Tony Mathis Jr. moves to starting running back.
- Bryce Anderson-Scalzo starts at wide receiver.
- Dante Stills Jr. returns at defensive end.

Quarterback: Daniels Takes the Reins
Head coach Neal Brown has named JT Daniels the starting quarterback for the 2024 season. The former Georgia and USC signal-caller brings experience and a strong arm to the position.
