Google Chrome 110 Released
VPN-like security in Chrome
Chrome 110 includes a new feature called Privacy Sandbox which provides VPN-like security against online tracking. It is currently available in beta and is expected to be released to all users in the coming months.
Privacy Sandbox uses a technique called “differential privacy” to protect user data. This technique adds noise to user data, which makes it difficult for advertisers and other third parties to track users' online activity. This feature is a significant step forward in protecting users' privacy and security online. It is also a major blow to advertisers who rely on tracking users' online activity to target them with ads.
Improved performance
Chrome 110 also includes a number of performance improvements that make the browser faster and more responsive. These improvements include:
- Improved memory management.
- Reduced CPU usage.
- Faster startup times.
- Smoother scrolling.
