CCSD Schools and Offices Closed for Nevada Day, October 25
No Classes, Activities, or Extracurriculars
All Clark County School District (CCSD) schools and offices will be closed on Monday, October 25, 2023, in observance of Nevada Day. This includes all CCSD schools, administrative offices, and other district facilities.
There will be no classes, activities, or extracurriculars held on Nevada Day. All CCSD schools and offices will reopen on Tuesday, October 26, 2023, at their regular times.
What is Nevada Day?
Nevada Day is a state holiday in Nevada that commemorates the anniversary of Nevada's admission to the Union on October 31, 1864. Nevada Day is typically celebrated with parades, festivals, and other events throughout the state. This year, Nevada Day falls on a Monday, which is why CCSD schools and offices will be closed on October 25.

CCSD encourages all students and staff to enjoy the Nevada Day holiday safely. If you are traveling during the holiday, please remember to be aware of your surroundings and take precautions to stay safe. CCSD also reminds students and staff that the use of alcohol and drugs is prohibited on all CCSD property, including during school closures.
