Charles Barkley Believes 'My Suns' Will Be Better, Has Hot Takes on 2 Other Teams in West

NBA Legend and Analyst Charles Barkley is predicting a big season for his beloved Phoenix Suns.

Barkley, who played for the Suns from 1992 to 1996, said on ESPN's “First Take” that he believes Phoenix will be “a lot better” this season.

“I think we're going to be a lot better,” Barkley said. “We've got a lot of young talent, and I think Monty Williams is a great coach. I'm excited about the Suns this year.”

Barkley also had some hot takes on two other teams in the Western Conference.

He said he believes the Los Angeles Lakers will be “worse” this season, and that the Golden State Warriors will be “a lot better.”

“I think the Lakers are going to be worse,” Barkley said. “They're old, and they don't have any depth. I don't see them making the playoffs this year.”

“I think the Warriors are going to be a lot better,” Barkley said. “They've got a lot of young talent, and I think Steve Kerr is a great coach. I can see them making a run to the NBA Finals this year.”

Only time will tell if Barkley's predictions come true. But one thing is for sure: he's always entertaining to listen to.
