CORRECTING and REPLACING Capri Holdings Intends to File Notice of Appeal

New York, NY, April 21, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — This article corrects and replaces the previously issued press release distributed on April 18, 2023, to include additional language regarding the non-waiver of rights.

Capri Holdings Limited (NYSE:CPRI), a global fashion luxury group, today announced that its Versace subsidiary intends to file a notice of appeal of the decision of the Milan Court of Appeals dated March 14, 2023, which dismissed Versace’s appeal of the first-instance decision dated November 22, 2021, relating to the trademark infringement lawsuit filed by VF Corporation (“VFC”) against Versace, which alleged that certain Versace designs infringed VFC’s copyright and trademark rights. Capri Holdings believes that the Milan Court of Appeals’ decision is incorrect on a number of legal and factual grounds, and that Versace has strong grounds for appeal. Versace intends to vigorously defend its position in the appeal process. The notice of appeal will be filed within the statutory deadline. Versace does not waive any of its rights or defenses in connection with this matter, including its right to seek interim relief and its right to pursue any and all other available legal remedies.

Capri Holdings is a global fashion luxury group, consisting of iconic brands that are industry leaders in their respective categories. Its brands include Versace, Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors, and its licensed brands include Salvatore Ferragamo and Missoni.

Capri Holdings' common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “CPRI”.
