Chelsea F.C. have agreed to sign Sancho for a fee of £50 million, with the England international set to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2023

Jadon Sancho is edging closer to a move to Chelsea F.C., with the Blues reportedly agreeing to pay Borussia Dortmund £50 million for the England international.

Sancho has been one of the most sought-after young players in Europe since breaking into the Dortmund first team in 2017.

The 21-year-old has scored 50 goals in 137 appearances for the Bundesliga club and has also won 23 caps for England.

Sancho is expected to sign a five-year contract with Chelsea F.C. and will become the club’s third most expensive signing after Romelu Lukaku and Kai Havertz.

The arrival of Sancho is a major coup for Chelsea F.C. manager Thomas Tuchel, who is looking to build a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League title next season.

Sancho is a versatile forward who can play on either wing or as a central striker.

His pace, skill, and finishing ability make him a dangerous attacking threat, and he is expected to be a key player for Chelsea F.C. in the years to come.

Meanwhile, Manchester United F.C. are facing an injury crisis ahead of their Premier League clash with Leeds United on Sunday.

Enzo Maresca, who joined the club from Manchester City in the summer, is set to miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The Italian midfielder has been a key player for United this season, but he is now expected to be out for up to six months.

Maresca’s injury is a major blow to United manager Ralf Rangnick, who is already without several other players due to injury.

United are currently seventh in the Premier League table, four points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

They will need to win their remaining games if they want to qualify for the Champions League next season.
