Shaquille O'Neal's Son Shareef O'Neal Signs With Sacramento Kings NBA G League Affiliate

O'Neal to Play for Stockton Kings After Successful Summer League Stint

Shareef O'Neal, the son of NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, has signed a contract with the Stockton Kings, the NBA G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings. The 22-year-old forward played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Summer League, averaging 4.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in four games.

O'Neal Has Potential to Be a Solid G League Player

O'Neal, a former four-star recruit, played college basketball at UCLA and LSU. He has shown flashes of his father's talent, but has struggled with injuries throughout his career. However, he is still considered a talented prospect with the potential to be a solid G League player.

The Stockton Kings are led by head coach Bobby Jackson, a former NBA player. The team is expected to compete for a playoff spot in the G League this season.
